Musings on Earth Day – The Experience of one’s own Earthly Existence

Monday, April 22 is Earth Day and the official theme for 2024 is “Planet vs. Plastics.” Since man has no direct sensory experience of the realities of Earth’s shape and motions, the Earth Day celebration calls for the recounting of the experience of one’s own earthly existence.On Earth Day 2024, this alien is still carrying the burden of the cross while he slowly inches towards his final, earthly destination. The alien has no choice other than that of learning the art of Whole Patience.

The Blessings of a Name Beyond All Names

In the personality of Rama, the course of human conduct and the Dharma governing it come linked together. My love for Rama could be mostly attributed to the story that is revealed in Book II, ‘Ayodhya Kanda’ of Valmiki Ramayana. We should view the events described through imagination and actually experience the emotional state of each character as the story is enacted in front of our eyes. It is claimed that, wherever Rama’s tale is told, Hanuman himself joins the gathering and reverentially stands with tear-filled eyes, listening. This has been my personal experience. Whenever I read the story about this ordinary human being, my eyes fill up with tears. I rechecked my emotions while preparing to write down this entry. When I read Ayodhya Kanda, my eyes can not resist from filling up with tears. For having experienced this emotional connection, I claim that Rama is my Beloved Hero.

The Celebration of the Spiritual Dimension of Water on World Water Day

Water Molecule looks very simple and yet it plays a mysterious role inside all living cells. It is essential to Life and its propagation. Its Spiritual nature is revealed by its pure, original, and sweet taste it imparts apart from its role as a Chemical Compound. It is the main mode of transport of many Elements that are needed by the living organisms. Water is the Agent that leaches Nutrient Elements and Compounds from rocks and soils and makes them available for use by plants, and animals. Man alone can describe the original, sweet taste imparted by the Water Molecule. The taste cannot be discovered in the atoms of Hydrogen and Oxygen that constitute the Water Molecule. Indians have glorified the significance of fresh water which is delivered from Heaven and the identity of the Land of Bharat is cherished as the Land where the sacred River Ganges flows.

The Concept of Peace and Non-violence does not exclude India’s Right to Test Nuclear Weapons

On January 30, Martyrs’ Day, I smile like the Smiling Buddha. At Giriraj , in 1962, when we celebrated the ‘U.N.O. DAY’, I had the opportunity to speak and publicly express my opinion about India’s relationship with the United Nations. As my father, the Principal of Giriraj, was listening to me, I told the Faculty Staff Members and the assembled student community that India should exercise its rights to develop and test the nuclear weapons. India carried out its first nuclear test at Pokhran (Operation Smiling Buddha) on May 18, 1974. The Concept of Peace and Non-violence does not exclude India’s Right to Test Nuclear Weapons.

The man cannot discover God’s mind by inventing schemes or mental tricks, or by using cunningness or deception. Man has to submit to Will of God and learn about God with guidance, assistance, instruction, and counsel of the Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord. The man cannot depend upon his own thoughts, mind, intellect, and wisdom to know God’s mind. It is the Spirit or Soul which is of the Lord that can counsel, guide, and instruct a man to live according to God’s thoughts, mind, intellect, and wisdom.

The Joyful Celebration of Whole Christmas

Man cannot explain the Birth of Jesus using his scientific knowledge. The Birth of Jesus can only be understood as a fact of Creation, a creative event. Each man is born as a created being and the birth of Jesus as a singular event reveals a creative mechanism not known to man and not subject to the limitations of man’s rational power. God uses the dimension called Whole Love to bring Unity and Harmony between the dimensions of Matter, Energy, Time, and Space to create man and the World in which man exists.

Happy Thanksgiving Day 2023 – Man’s Existence as a Social Being

On November 23, 2023, Thanksgiving Day, reflections delve into man’s existence as a social being. The post highlights Man’s social relationships, often enhanced through shared meals, and acknowledges the role trillions of microbes play in man’s existence, silently hosted within our bodies. The tradition of Thanksgiving Day, a celebration of a historical feast marking the culmination of a successful harvest, emphasizes gratitude and spiritual bonding during shared meals. With human bodies carrying far more microbial cells than human cells, an unseen reciprocation of symbiotic relationships occurs; it is viewed as an unintentional act of constant ‘Thanksgiving’. Man’s existence continues due to Mercy, Compassion, Grace, ‘KRUPA,’ despite his lack of awareness of the interactions happening within him. The writer wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and expresses gratitude for life itself.

The Beginning of a new holiday tradition with Thanksgiving to God

The author proposes a new American holiday centered on the celebration of love, emphasizing its significance in human relationships, mental health, and societal cohesion. Comparing extant religious holidays, like Jewish Shavuot and Christian Christmas, he points out the lack of an equivalent occasion dedicated to the two ‘Love’ commandments in Christian faith. he appeals to the U.S. Congress to institute this holiday, aiming to cultivate love as a unifying significant principle. He suggests the last Wednesday in July as the date, reflecting on the proposal’s origins in a personal ‘Whole Love’ experience he had on a July Wednesday.

Christmas in July – An appeal for a new holiday tradition

I am posting this article to make an open appeal to all the members of the US Congress to pass a decree or law to commence a new tradition in the national life that celebrates the proclamation of the Love Commandments by Jesus on the last Wednesday of July.
